This Infinite Poem Is For You was presented at Children Museum of the Arts in January 2019
As an act of protest against the separation of the families at the Us/Mexico Border.
The Children were asked to write poems about their families on strips of paper and to draw on 30 helium balloons the faces of children separated from their families. The Artist linked balloons and poems by sewing them together. The result was a floating poem. At the end of the performance the balloons strings were cut and each child was able to take safely home one of them, representing one of the kids separated from their parents.
